The piercer will usually insert starter studs at the time of the piercing. You kind of forget that they’re there after a couple of weeks. Get it done at a local tattoo shop who has a piercer on staff.Thanks guys!!! I got my belly button pierced a while back but ended up taking it out. While it looked very cute, it takes a long time to heal and gets snagged easily. I'm a lot more comfortable without it. I second this!! I got mine pierced ages ago, was a nightmare to heal and once it was healed, it would snag aaalllll the time..
